When making an application for an advertised vacancy we ask you to provide certain pieces of information about yourself, your history, selected referees, etc. The information you submit will be kept by us for as long as it is necessary, and only for the purposes of assessing your suitability for the vacancy you have applied for. The information will only be made available to managers and their support staff directly involved in the hiring process and will not be used for any other purpose without your express permission.
Unsuccessful applications will be destroyed once the vacancy is filled.

The talent pool provides potential employees to express their interest for a range of temporary professional and academic roles. It will help us to identify individuals that we think are a good match to the requirements of a position. If you join our talent pool, your uploaded documents, including your personal contact information will be available to People and Organisational Development staff and managers at Massey through the results of talent pool searches.
If a search of our talent pool identifies you as a good prospect for a casual or temporary role then you will be contacted to find out whether you are interested in an opportunity that has arisen.
By joining the talent pool, you acknowledge that the information you have provided will be used for the purposes of assessing you for roles linked to your preferred employment interests, skills and experience. From time to time, we may also contact you to provide you with specific information that we think might be of interest to you, as identified in your talent pool details.
